TASK
To create a basic user interface for unattended terminal Newland U1000. It's a modular payment system for self-service kiosks like vending machines, ticketing, gas stations, laundromat, parking, etc.
SOLUTION
• To combine all technical requirements from banking systems and technical possibilities of device;
• To place all sections of interface on the same rows to avoid screen jumping on different steps;
• To create centered interface to make it universal for right to left and left to right direction;
• To invert top and bottom bars to make 3,5" screen feels bigger and clear.
RESULT
New basic interface has neutral and universal design. Any company can use that terminal for any kind of self-service kiosks out of the box. All that they need it to pick payment system logos.
